Kitchen cabinet services in Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is our home market — our TTDI showroom is here, and most of our planning calls and site visits happen within a 20-minute radius. The bulk of KL work is high-rise condo and serviced apartment renovation, where the operating constraints are management office (MO) approval cycles, elevator booking windows, and strict delivery hours. Our team is used to coordinating all three.

How KL condo access shapes the delivery plan
Most KL condo projects we deliver are inside buildings with a single shared loading bay and one or two passenger lifts that are also used by residents during the day. The management office typically requires renovation work to happen between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, and to be cleared out of common areas by 5:30pm sharp. Lift booking is usually allowed in 2-hour slots, and many buildings require us to lay protective sheeting on the lift floor and walls before any material goes in. These constraints shape our delivery plan: carcasses are broken into manageable loads (usually 6-8 panels at a time), finished doors and panels are delivered in a separate trip, and the installation team is sized so that one full kitchen can be installed in a single working day wherever possible.
KL material and finish preferences
KL projects tend to be finish-led — clients here are willing to invest in statement materials, and the trend we see most often is a high-gloss or super-matte slab door for the main run, paired with a textured woodgrain for the island or breakfast-bar front. Hardware is usually Blum or Hettich, with soft-close as a baseline rather than an upgrade. For wet zones (sink base, under-counter storage) we still recommend aluminium-frame carcasses in KL high-rises because the moisture load from cooking accumulates faster in a closed condo layout than in a landed house.
KL pricing baseline
As a reference, a typical KL condo kitchen (L-shaped run, 10-12 linear feet, mid-range finish) lands in the RM 25,000-45,000 all-in range. Condo wardrobes are RM 1,200-1,800 per linear foot depending on internal configuration. These are planning numbers — the actual quote depends on layout, finish selection, and whether the work is part of a larger renovation. Use them as a sanity check when comparing contractor quotes, not as a fixed price list.
Working with management offices in KL
Every KL condo has its own renovation rulebook, and most of the friction in a project comes from a missed rule rather than a workmanship problem. We keep a working database of MO rules for the buildings we deliver in regularly — covering renovation deposit amounts, allowed work hours, lift booking procedures, water shutoff protocols, and parking allocation for delivery. If your building is on our list we will tell you upfront what the constraints are and what they cost; if it is not, we will request a copy of the renovation guidelines during the planning call and build them into the project timeline from day one.
